Dental Treatment in Türkiye: What to Expect

Why patients travel

Türkiye has become one of the main destinations for dental treatment, mostly because a full course of work can be completed in one or two visits at a fraction of western European prices. The saving is real, but it should never be the only reason you choose a clinic. What matters just as much is who plans your case, what materials are used, and what happens if something needs adjusting after you fly home.

Before you book anything

Send clear photographs of your smile and, if you have one, a recent panoramic X-ray. A serious clinic will reply with an assessment and a written plan that states the number of teeth involved, the materials, the number of days required and the total price. If a quote arrives without any of that detail, treat it as a warning sign.

During your stay

Most treatments follow a rhythm of appointments spread over several days, with free time in between. Crowns and veneers are usually finished within a single visit of five to eight days. Implants need two visits, because the bone must heal around the implant before the final bridge is fitted.

After you return

Ask before you travel how aftercare is handled. At Key Smile we stay in contact after you return, review photographs if you have a concern, and coordinate with your local dentist when a small adjustment is easier to do at home.
